We took a drive out to Foxton beach today, just a short 45 minutes from where we are staying in Palmerston North. Quite often while we are driving we spend a lot of time entertaining the kids or stopping them from fighting 😁😂 but also we often chat about things, choices and life in general.
I still can’t quite believe we are here, doing what we’re doing. We’ve had some tough times but now it’s all good, we have nothing to complain about and that feels good. It’s a kind of peaceful feeling just to go about each day as we please. No fixed plan, open to any new adventures coming our way. I’ve never slept so well.
While driving we talk about all sorts of stuff, our experiences, feelings, ideas about what to do when we go back home 😬😁. It passes the time and also is a nice opportunity to share our thoughts ❤️….. something we actually had very little time for when we were back home.
Who knows where this road will lead us, who knows maybe there is something around the corner that will challenge us or inspire us. Maybe there’s just more beautiful mountains and beaches 😃😊
